This non-invasive treatment combines radiofrequency and ultrasound technology to safely deliver energy into subcutaneous fat layers, promoting apoptosis—the natural elimination of fat cells. Once these cells are destroyed, the body naturally processes and removes them, reducing the number of fat cells that can store fat.
An added benefit of this treatment is skin tightening. The residual heat stimulates collagen production, helping to firm and tone the skin in the treated areas.

Exilis has two modules; one for fat reduction and one for skin tightening.
Fat reduction – this module heats fat cells to a temperature that causes them to burst, when the body’s lymphatic system can carry the fat away. It is highly effective on areas on areas of stubborn, diet- and exercise-resistant fat on the stomach, inner and outer thighs, upper arms and back.
Skin tightening – this module causes the collagen support tissues in the skin to remodel and tighten, thereby stimulating and strengthening the collagen network which improves skin laxity and texture. It delivers excellent results on facial areas prone to sagging, such as the jawline and under the eyes.
Key concerns that can be treated with Exilis:
Exilis is recommended for any patient between the ages of 25 and 70+ who desires cosmetic improvement. Exilis treatment offers cosmetic improvement without surgery and can even eliminate the need for invasive surgery particularly for patients with mild to moderate fat deposits.
Exilis has been tested in clinical studies and proven to be safe and effective. It has been cleared by the FDA in the U.S. for use in dermatological and aesthetic procedures with indications for non-invasive treatment of wrinkles and rhytids.
You might experience a mild tingling sensation, warm skin, or slight redness after treatment.
Some pinkness on the treated area may show and last for about 15-30 minutes after the Exilis treatment. It is recommended that you drink more water on the day of the treatment and on the following day, and engage in light exercise to enhance results.
Besides that, there have been no significant side effects reported with Exilis treatment.
During the session, the Exilis computer-controlled device is guided over the treatment area. You feel a warming sensation as the energy is delivered to the deeper layers of skin. Exilis focuses the energy on the specific treatment areas at the targeted depth of penetration. By causing the collagen supporting tissues to remodel, Exilis stimulates and strengthens the collagen network to improve skin laxity and texture.
At the beginning of the Exilis treatment you will feel a deep heating sensation, which some clients compare to that of a hot stone massage. Radiofrequency energy is delivered to the deeper layers of the skin, while the underside of the applicator provides cooling to the skin’s surface, improving your comfort during the treatment.
As the skin may feel sensitive, it is advisable to avoid extremes of heat or cold, and exposure to the sun. Drinking plenty of water in the days that follow the treatment will assist the lymphatic system in flushing out the unwanted fat cells.
Sagging skin and wrinkles – After just 1 to 2 Exilis Elite treatment sessions, you should start to see some skin tightening but it will be 2-3 months after the end of your treatment course that you will see the best results.
Exilis results are long-lasting, so long as you maintain your weight with normal diet and exercise. Sagging skin and wrinkles can be significantly reduced for up to two years.
Current studies show that those who had treatment over 2 years ago have been able to maintain their results. For facial treatments much depends on the way you look after your skin post-treatment. A skin regime that contains clinical active ingredients and little sun exposure will look better for longer than those using over the counter products and frequent/unprotected exposure to the sun.
